MSA Professional Services, Inc. (MSA) and Muermann Engineering, LLC (Muermann Engineering) recently announced their merger through MSA’s acquisition of Muermann Engineering. Both companies have enjoyed a successful partnership since 1999, collaborating on more than 700 projects internationally.

Under the terms of the agreement, Muermann Engineering’s esteemed team of professionals—renowned for their expertise in designing electrical, technology, plumbing, HVAC, and fire sprinkler systems—will join forces with MSA’s existing staff. This strategic union promises enhanced services and broader market coverage for clients of both entities.

According to Gil Hantzsch, PE, MSA CEO, “We’re thrilled to welcome the staff of Muermann Engineering to MSA. Curt Krupp, formerly Muermann Engineering’s President and currently serving as MEP Team Leader at MSA, expressed enthusiasm regarding the expansion opportunities presented by the acquisition: “The prospect of combining our service capabilities and extending our geographical scope is exhilarating for our current clients and employees alike.”

Effective immediately, the transaction expands MSA’s presence to 17 regional offices across the Upper Midwest, adding locations in Kiel, De Pere, and Jackson, Wisconsin.
