Origin Story:
Founded in 1971 in a home garage, The Mr. Fix-it Co. later transitioned to its present location on Clayton Rd., Concord, CA. Predominantly serving the San Francisco Bay Area, particularly the East Bay, our services extend to commercial entities, smaller businesses, and residential establishments. Our crew members demonstrate flexibility in handling multiple duties to ensure efficient and proficient task accomplishment. Holding a valid B-1 license from the State of California, we are bonded, insured, and carry worker’s compensation insurance.

Introducing the Enterprise Proprietor:
With over four decades of involvement in the construction sector, Peter R. commenced his career as a part-time apprentice for a minor Canadian construction firm while simultaneously pursuing higher studies. Throughout the years, he acquired practical know-how from accomplished carpenters, painters, plumbers, welders, ceramicists, linoleum workers, and HVAC technicians, complemented by attending technical classes and visiting universities. Following the acquisition of an Associate’s Degree and encountering additional circumstances, he entered sales before establishing The Mr. Fix-it Co. as a sole proprietorship focused on handyman repair services. Upon marriage and moving to California, he recommenced operations in 1971, hiring personnel and continuing thereafter.
